Purchase Tickets

Our summer season at the Loop can be very busy with many trains running SOLD OUT, particularly on weekends and holidays. We recommend making a reservation via our Purchase Tickets Online feature to assure your preferred departure time and date. The Purchase Tickets Online link appears at the bottom of this page.

Tickets may be purchased onsite if space is available. During our regular summer season the Silver Plume Depot opens at 9:00 AM and the Devil’s Gate Station in Georgetown opens at 9:30 AM. Tickets may also be reserved in advance by calling 1-888-456-6777.

Reservations are for a specific date and departure time. Please allow sufficient driving time. We recommend checking “I-70 Estimated Travel Times” on the Colorado Department of Transportation website (www.cotrip.org) before driving to Georgetown or Silver Plume. Like any ticketed event, all sales are final and no refunds are offered. Colorado weather is unpredictable and during the regular summer season the railroad operates open cars, rain or shine. Be prepared, as no refunds or rain checks are offered for inclement weather.

During our Fall season we operate our enclosed heated coaches.A credit card is required to make a reservation. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. Seats cannot be held without payment in full. Changes to travel dates and/or times are permitted, when space is available, with a $4.00 per ticket rebooking fee. Changes can only be made prior to the originally scheduled departure by calling 1-888-456-6777.

Before ordering tickets, you will need to determine the following information:

The date, departure location and time you would like.
The number of Adults and Children (ages 3 - 15). Children under 3 are complimentary when sitting on an adult’s lap. If they require their own seat, the Children’s fare applies (car seats and strollers are not permitted on the train).
Whether you want to take the optional Lebanon Mine Tour (adding this tour after making the initial reservation is considered a “Change” and is subject to the $4.00 per ticket rebooking fee, in addition to the price of the tour).
The complete address and phone number that matches the information on file with your credit card company must be provided as part of the approval process.
