History Colorado member rates are only available when you make a telephone reservation. To receive your discount, please call 1-888-456-6777, identify yourself as a History Colorado member, and have your membership card with you. Member rates are good for two adults and children or grandchildren under age 18. You must present your membership card when picking up your tickets at the depot. Please note that reservations are for a specific date and departure. Please allow sufficient driving time. Like any ticketed event, all sales are final and no refunds are offered. Colorado weather is unpredictable and the railroad operates open cars, rain or shine. Be prepared, as no refunds or rainchecks are offered for inclement weather. If you have free passes issued by History Colorado, reservations are required. Please call 1-888-456-6777 to book your trip date and time. Your passes must be presented, along with a valid History Colorado membership card, when you pick up your tickets at the depot. Ticket agents are not able to issue tickets unless the passes are surrendered. Please do not forget to bring them. Please pick up tickets 30 minutes before departure The train ride is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Restrooms are located at each depot and at the mine, but not on board the train. The optional mine tour is offered daily from May 5 to September 3, 2012 and adds another 1 hour and 15 minutes to your train trip. The mine tour is not recommended for young children who cannot walk the entire distance on their own, anyone who is mobility impaired in any way, or those who might have a problem at 9,000 feet in elevation. Strollers and wheelchairs are not permitted. Mine tours are not available on the last train departure of the day. Learn More About the Lebanon Silver Mine Tour The ALL NEW Lebanon Extension Mine TourThe New Lebanon Extension mine tour goes into the newly re-opened southwest Lebanon tunnel that curves from the main Lebanon access tunnel toward the closed Everett Mine. This tour takes you over 900 feet into Leavenworth Mountain. This tunnel follows a section of the Hise ore body that extends from the silver mines of Silver Plume to the Silver Queen mine in Georgetown. You will see naturally occurring “silver pearls”, calcified hobnail boot prints, calcite dams, stalactites that are over 100 years old and come back with your own gold and silver ore sample from the mines along Clear Creek.
