Collage featuring the Hike and Ride train. The photo contains a picture of the Georgetown Loop Railroad high bridge as well as signs pointing to different parts of the train park such as the lebanon mine, everett mine, mill, hall tunnel, and future baseball field. Hike and Ride gives guests a chance to take  a guided hike through the rocky mountains and then a ride on the train. Lunch is even provided.

This is a behind-the-scenes tour of the Georgetown Loop Railroad.  Hikers will meet at the Silver Plume station at 12:00 pm and hike downhill through the Rocky Mountains. We'll stop along the route to take a mine tour and do some gold panning. After a lunch of hot dogs, chips, and lemonade, we'll wind up at the Georgetown Devil's Gate station where the train will pick you up and return you to Silver Plume by 4:00 pm.
