A FUN FILLED DAY FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

SOME OPTIONS HERE AT THE GEORGETOWN LOOP:

TRAIN RIDE IN THE COACH SECTION:
These are box cars with bench seating, they are enclosed and heated during the winter months. This tour is about one hour and 15 minutes round trip


TRAIN RIDE IN THE FIRST CLASS PARLOR CARS:

These are fully enclosed, with table and chair seating. Guests in this section receive a soft drink or water and light snacks. Beer and wine is available for purchase. This tour is about one hour and 15 minutes round trip.


TRAIN RIDE AND LEBANON MINE TOUR:
The mine tour is a guided walking tour, and involves about 3/4 of a mile of walking. Guests wear a hard hat and go about 540 feet into the mine. This tour is two hours and 30 minutes round trip, including the train ride.

TRAIN RIDE AND EXTENDED LEBANON MINE TOUR:
This mine tour skips the exterior mine buildings and takes guests about 900 feet inside the mountain. This tour is two hours and 30 minutes round trip, including the train ride.  

**Children under 7 are not allowed on this Mine Tour


TRAIN RIDE AND EVERETT MINE TOUR:

The newly opened Everett bore goes about 50 feet underground and is an example of what a working mine might have felt like in the 1800s. Guests also pan for gold (you get to keep what you find!), and the tour includes a lunch of hot dog, chips, and a beverage. This tour is two hours and 30 minutes round trip, including the train ride.

DIRECTIONS TO DEVIL’S GATE:
From I-70, take Exit 228 to Georgetown.
If you are on I-70 West, take a left off the ramp. If you are on I-70 East, take a right off the ramp. From here, take the first right at the roundabout. This is Argentine Street. Follow Argentine until you reach a fork in the road. Stay to the right and the road will end at the Devil’s Gate Depot.

DIRECTIONS TO SILVER PLUME DEPOT:
From I-70, take exit 226.
If you are on I-70 West, take a left at the stop sign and go under the interstate. If you are coming from I-70 East, take a right at the off ramp. The Silver Plume Depot will be on your left just past I-70.
The Silver Plume station is closed from October 09 through the end of the 2020 season.
